As I made my way over to the Annex side, I was hoping it wasn't a boiling temperature, like what I had previously experienced. The big fan was kickin and it was actually cool in there. One girl even said that it was cold. I think everyone else at the same time said, "Don't complain!" As class started, Sean was pumping out some good tunes. I was confused at first, as I heard 15 seconds of Metallica, then Banana Rama, then The Toadies? It was one good song after another all mashed together in 15 second intervals. Playing name that tune in my head took my mind off doing high knees, sprinting, and burpies.
Sean kept the class rolling at an intense speed with punch combos, but the music kept the fire going. During one of the push-up rounds, I looked over at Kevin and could see the sweat rolling off his nose like a continuous river. On the mat below him, you could see a huge pool of burnt calories! His body was giving him a High 5 as a result of the trainer switch up:)

I also learned that Sean knows just exactly how to get 6 pack abs and he shared it with us all! !! His advice was 3 fold - continually change up your ab work, eat well, and run! Well, at least I can do 1 of those things, so when can I expect my 2 pack??
After class, Kevin & I spent a few extra minutes talking to Sean about the mystery of calorie intakes. He genuinely likes to help others gain fitness and meet their goals. He seems very passionate about overall wellness. I'm looking forward to learning from his wealth of knowledge and playing name that tune again!
