Are you going to live your life wondering?
Standing in the back looking around
Are you going to waste your time thinking?
How you've grown up or how you missed out
I'm on my feet, I'm on the floor, I'm good to go
Now all I need is just to hear a song I know
~ Says...Jimmy Eat World
As I drove out to 148th this morning, I knew Justin would be subbing for David today. When, I called last night to confirm the trainer, I got the news of the shake up. David, what are you thinking? Don't you know I have a plan? Now, my carefully planned calendar will have to be revised. Luckily, I confirmed with James that David would be training Sunday, when I was suppose to go to Justin. Fingers crossed that I can just make the switch without any snags!
I had attended one of Justin's classes before, so was relaxed as I had an idea what to expect. At 119th location, he started his class out with Aerosmith's, "Back in the Saddle." I really liked his music selection at that class, so was hoping for some good tunes.
There were only a few people there when I arrived. As the start of class was nearing, several more starting showing up to start filling up the bags. The mix seemed to be heavier on the males. I was pumped and good to go after getting counseling from Jimmy Eat World.
Justin's style is very easy to follow. He goes slow when giving direction, which I really appreciated since it was the crack of dawn! He did LOTS of punch combos, so my arms were feeling strong. I had my fire back again after the recovery from Joel's class. Now all I need is just to hear a song I know...sad to say Justin did not bring along his music. It was the usual dance stuff again, but I made it work by punching, stepping, fading, and bouncing.
Today, was a great workout and left ready to take on the corporate game! Justin had to jet quickly after class, so didn't capture our moment together. I was just pumped cause I'm Baaackkk....I'm Baaackkk in the Saddle Again!! I'm Baaackkk!!
Tomorrow is my 1/2 way, so was saving this day to meet Mary @ 119th. I can't wait!
